This walk is suitable for all ages, and can be combined with other walks (eg Whitby Walkway) if you want to explore further. The pathway is sealed and is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.

The Upper Lake walkway has entrances on Longitude Place, Exploration Way, or the main road Discovery Drive near the shopping area.

The Lower Lake walkway has entrances from Discovery Drive (opposite the Upper Lake walkway entrance), from the shopping centre, retirement village, Halyard Place, and two further entrances on the eastern side of Discovery Drive.

Dogs must be kept on a leash. Expect to meet people feeding ducks.
