Description
This track provides an underpass from near Joseph Banks Drive intersection with SH 58, bypassing the roundabout and emerging in the Lighthouse cinema carpark.
If you don't mind risking your life, you can cross SH 58 opposite Joseph Banks Drive and follow a short walking track into the cinema carpark. This route (also shown on the map below) is shorter and more direct, but not recommended for family groups or cyclists.

Other notes
This route is no doubt part of a grand plan for a walkway/cycle way around Porirua harbour.
