This shortcut begins on the main road between Tawa and Linden opposite McLellan Street (there is a pedestrian crossing if you need to cross the road). The steps lead up to Fyvie Ave. After crossing the road the steps continue up a few metres to the right, and emerge on a small cul-de-sac Deveron Place which is off Victory Crescent.

Walking distance from Tawa shops and general Tawa/Linden area.
