Overview

This is one of the most used and fun sections of track in the park. Suitable for thise with a bit of skill, and those wanting to improve their skills. It is not a begginers track, but it is also not a hard track, but it has a few roots and corners to catch you out.

Description

The DC Starts up at "The Crux" a point where a lot of tracks meet. You start with a double back around a tree and over a lip, then along a long fast stretch with a couple of whips to the right before coming to a drop into a nicely bermed switchback. Just after this, you have a choice. You can either carry on down DC by turning right at the next switchback, or you can carry on ahead to "Lash" and decend on that track instead. Turning right into the DC again, you go over a small jump, then through a rooty off camber patch that can catch the unweary. From here a series of corners with roots and lips takes you to the bottom, where if you have some speed, you can get air on the jump at the end.

Getting there

Ride up the Main Codgers Track to the intersection with Summit Road. The DC drops off to the right here.
