The route shows two routes between Simla Crescent and Clark St, which is halfway to Woodmancote Road. There is a signposted entry/exit point at Clark Street. These linking track provide a good loop walk - from Woodmancote Road to Mt Kaukau, back down Simla Crescent track and then along Clark St track back to Woodmancote Road.

These tracks are not as well formed as the main Simla Crescent and Woodmancote Road tracks to/from Mt Kaukau, and there can be the odd wet patch after rain.

Nearest railway station is Simla Crescent on the Johnsonville line.

(GPS a bit patchy in the bushy hillside so the tracks may not be spot on)
