Starting from the top of Central Park at the intersection of Brooklyn Road and Ohiro Road, this track winds downhill in parallel with Ohiro Road until you reach a historic bridge over Moturoa Stream. At this point you can take the Moturoa Stream track down to the main gates, or the Caretakers Path back up to Ohiro Road. The route shown takes the Caretakers track from the bridge back up to Ohiro Road.

There is a bus stop at the top of Brooklyn Hill near the start of the route.

Good track but parts can be slippy after rain.
