Central Park has recently been upgraded by Wellington City Council and now feels refreshed. Brooklyn walkway is the "red" route by the map, from the main gates at the bottom of Brooklyn Hill up past the tennis courts and emerges opposite the Malaysian High Commission on the corner of Brooklyn Road and Washington Av. Walking uphill is a small climb, but the gradient is easy.

There is a bus stop on Brooklyn Road near both ends of this walk.
