Description

Beeline is a fast, downhill-only track from Wainuiomata Road saddle to meet Wetland Loop on the valley floor.

With several jumps and steep drop-offs designed to test a rider's skill and confidence, the track presents a challenge. The top section includes a series of little bump-jumps, including doubles. Further along, there are a couple of seriously steep drops – neither of which have a "nana line". The track ends with a pair of side-by-side wooden ramp jumps, though they can be by-passed.

In the flat area around the bottom of the track there are several dirt jumps of various sizes.

The track is actively maintained, so may change from time to time without notice.

Getting there

From the Wainuiomata Road saddle car park, jump over the metal gate. The top of Beeline is on the right hand side, 5m past the metal gate.

Alternatively, from the end of Waiu Street ascend Jungle Gym, then cruise 30m down the ECNZ pylon road to just before the metal gate.

Other notes

Beeline crosses Jungle Gym about 0.2km from the bottom, so watch out for traffic at the intersection.

Beeline is a multi-use track, though cyclists have the right of way.
