Dog Stream Track starts at a Picnic Spot at the top of McIntyre road. It as a Dual use walkway, and you must give way to walkers. Ideal as a step up from the Forest Cruiser trails as it adds a bit of elevations and a few slightly more technical bits, but nothing scary. As you get to know the tracks in the area, this becomes a good way in and out of other track areas, and is always a lot of fun.

From town travel upp Jollies Pass Road to McIntyre Road. Turn left and follw the gravel McIntyre road all the way up to the foot of the hill. Where it turns left at the foot of the hill, drop into the picnic ground and cross the bridge. this is the top end of the Dog Stream Track.

With respect to the Hanmer MTB Club who's only source of income is Sales of their fantastic Trail Maps, There are no GPS file loaded for these tracks, just desriptions. Please purchase a map from the Bike Shop in Hanmer when you visit to support this worthy cause
