Narrow connection from the top of Rimu Trail to the middle of Ridgeline Extension.

This is a short connection between Rimu Trail and Ridgeline Extension. The track is narrow and has quite tight corners, which makes for an interesting time in either direction.

If you're entering the Makara Peak Mountain Bike Park via Allington Road, then this track provides a convenient way to access a variety of subsequent alternative routes. Drop down Ridgeline Extension and Big Tom's Wheelie to a major intersection, from which you can head either up or down various tracks.

From the top of Allington Road follow Rimu Trail for 50m to where this track branches up to your right.

If you come up Rimu Trail from the east, then you should see the sharp left-hander just before you pop out on the Allington Road (backtrack if you miss it).

The top of the track meets Ridgeline Extension at the picnic tables. From Ridgeline Extension look for the narrow track in the flax heading north.
