Shortcut for pedestrians who wish to bypass Northland tunnel. The walking track zig-zags up to Thorby Street from Raroa Crescent about 200 metres south of the Northland tunnel. After cross Thorby St there is another pedestrian way zig-zagging down to Northland Road about 100 metres from the small roundabout by Upland Rd/Kelburn viaduct.
