The top section is currently deeply rutted in places, but once the Switchback track proper starts its a smooth flowing ride. Making full use of the terrain.

Getting there
Ride from the bullring in Whare Flat toward swampy summit and turn right off to Switchback track. Or ride up from leith valley.
