From the large carpark there are toilets and picnic facilites, and then a couple of walking options. The short loop walk shown here is a sealed track suitable for all ages. At the far end there is another loop walk (unsealed, slightly rougher track). Across the road there is another track leading to Tangoio Falls (about 1.5 hours one way).

Carpark is off SH2 about 20 km north of Napier on the road to Wairoa.

Walkers only on the sealed pathway.
