Description
A predator proof fence is used to protect Kiwis, and there is a pleasant bush walk round the lake. Note that the track shown is approximate (GPS track to be added in the future). The entrance is along the route to Boundary Stream Tumanako Loop. Allow about 1 hour for the loop walk.

Getting there
Follow the directions to Tumanako Loop. The entrance is on the right driving up the road, a few kilometres from the Shine Falls sign. There is a large carpark area at the front.
Other notes
Walkers only. The entrance is through special predator proof gates.
