Longer loop walk at Boundary Stream Mainland Island reserve

Description
This is a longer loop walk off the Tumanako Loop. It is slightly more difficult than the Tumanako Loop, but easily completed by most people in about 1.5 hours. The bush walk is lovely, with some excellent views from a lookout point on the cliffs, and the track back to the carpark follows a stream (which turns in to Shine Falls a short distance away). Although the track is near the cliff edges, the bush provides a safe barrier and nowhere does it feel unsafe.
About mid-way round the track to Shine Falls is sign-posted. This track is marked as suitable for experienced trampers only, and is best completed with transport at each end.
View from lookout about 800 metres asl
