This is an easy track marking a return route along the other side of the riverbank from the Bracken St track. It does go through the golf course (like the Ava) so you need to respect the golfers and watch out for stray golf balls. It is only in the northern part of the route that it is necessary to cross a green to exit to Memorial Park. This track should only be walked - if you are cycling please stick to the Ava route on the Hutt River Trail.

There is parking at the end of Bracken St near the entrance to Memorial Park. It is also walking distance from Petone along Jackson St, or from Hikiokio Reserve.

Consider this an alternative track for variation if doing the Ava of the Hutt River Trail.
