Short bush walk beside Kaiwharawhara stream

Part of the Kaiwharawhara stream restoration project, there is a short easy bush walk between Cardinal McKeefry school and the Kindergarten mid-way up Albermarle Road. The track is well marked, and although there is a city council Kaiwharawhara stream project sign at the bottom, it is otherwise unmarked. Local residents are still planting trees in the area.

From Ian Galloway park cross the road on the pedestrian crossing opposite Cardinal McKeefry school. The entrance is just past the school at the bottom of Albermarle Road.

Bicycles are not excluded (there aren't any signs "yet") and could navigate most of the track - there are just a few steps in the middle.
