Description

This is an alternate route from the Botanic Gardens down to Clifton Terrace carpark and The Terrace. From Seddon Memorial in the botanic gardens, head right down Kinross Street, cross over Bolton Street and about 100 metres down the street just before the bridge take the track on the right which leads along the side of the motorway. About 100 metres along the track there is a junction - you can go either way. On the upper route there is the option of exiting to Clifton Terrace. On the lower route you can take the Clifton Tce Steps. About 400 metres along the track there is another exit to Clifton Terrace. If you continue another 75 metres or so you come to the Clifton Terrace Cable Car stop, and the Clifton Terrace carpark. 50 metres further on you can exit on The Terrace beside the motorway off-ramp. The hotel opposite has a lift that you can take down to Lambton Quay and Cable Car Lane.

Getting there

Numerous entry and exit points from Clifton Terrace and Bolton Street (note that there is no access from Aurora Terrace), Clifton Terrace carpark, and The Terrace.

Other notes

Bicycles are not prohibited, but difficult because there are many steps.
