There are well marked entrances to this relatively new and well maintained track in Newlands from Bayswater Place, Fernhaven Grove and Ladbrooke Drive. The track is wide and mountain bikes are allowed. The track is slightly below the road set at the top of the bush with some good views of Wellington harbour. Beginning from Ladbooke Drive (the highest point) the track zig-zags downhill and then follows the hill round with an exit to Bayswater Place after about 500 metres. Ferhaven Grove is another 500 metres, with a seat and lookout point slightly further downhill from the exit to Fernhaven Grove.
