Description
The first section of this track from Evans Pass is a tough one, and can be difficult when wet. You can hook into the easier half of this track after climbing the road and dropping down the other side and jumping the fence at the corner. The second half is easier and more fun for the less fit/experienced.
Getting there
Head to Evans Pass via Summit Road, Lyttelton, Sumner or the Greenwood track. Ride up the road a short distance over the cattle stop, then 180 and ride up the hill, switchback, and follow the road up up up. The second hill drops you at the top of the Anaconda about halfway along Godley Head.
