This track is used in both directions, but is great as a downhill track. There are a few dropoffs which should be negotiated with care, especially as there's often a large steep drop on the edge if you make a mistake. There are steps at the Sumner end to take it easy there. Being a popular shared use singletrack, care should be taken on the descents for walkers on the track.

Starts at the saddle of Evans Pass, on the western corner of Summit Rd and Evans Pass Rd. Pops out on the road/path on Wakefield Ave. There are steps at the Sumner end
