Description
A constantly changing surface, starting & ending with hard packed dirt but some sections are rocky and some sections have bolders. When wet and cold, ice can form on the south side of the hill where some planking has been laid down to armour the track, so take care on cold winter days. The track pops out just above Evans Pass, almost directly across the road from Captain Thomas track.
Getting there
Head up Evans Pass and park in the saddle. Track can be ridden in either direction, but Evans Pass is the bottom of the hill, so it's a climb all the way in the other direction. Start at the top just down the hill from Mount Pleasant Rd on a sharp corner over a cattle stop.
Other notes
Often full of sheep and other livestock. Some structures over water hazards, easily avoided in summer, but need to be used in winter. Look a lot scarier than they really are.
