Overview
This is a well known and classic MTB track Featuring some stunning scenery and and native bush. The track is currently being extended at the bottom to include what promises to be fantasic riding (as if it isn't already)

Getting there
Take the Takaka Hill road between Motueka and Takaka, and at the top near the Ngarua Caves, just back toward Takaka you will find the Canan Downs Road. Travel down this 11km right to the very end of the road, where you will find a carpark and toilets. This is the start of the track, and also the start of the "Harwoods Hole" walking track, which is well worth the 40 minute detouor. From the carpark, Saddle up and ride up the track for a km or so, until you find the signpost for the Rameka Track itself. Turn left here and go for it.
Other notes
Beware, this is a dual use track, and you must give way and be considerate to other track users.
