This is a sealed walking and cycling track from Nicholson Road in Khandallah leading down (with views of Wellington harbour) to a small subdivision at the end of Ngaio gorge. There are several alternative entrances and exits from the bridleway.

The route below begins on Cameron St on Ngaio gorge - the bridleway proper starts about 250 metres up the road.

There is a new subdivision being built (Cameron St, Hershey Way, Brasch Way) below the bridleway, which may result in additional access points in the future.

There is a bus stop at the bottom of Ngaio gorge, from which it is just a short walk up to the bridleway.
