Short connector from the Hataitai to City Walkway to the top of Pirie Street, just next to the Hataitai bus tunnel.

This is a short and quite steep connector between Hataitai to City and Pirie Street.

The Pirie Street end of this track has a few steps. The first set of steps, which end on Pirie Street, drop down between a house and a large green electricial transformer. The second set of steps can be avoided by following the house's fenceline for a few metres and then turning up hill to join the main track just above the second set of steps.

There are a couple of faintly defined alternative tracks that run more-or-less parallel to the main track. They also connect with Ellice, near the intersection with Hataitai to City.

Southern end deviates off Ellice, just a few metres off Hataitai to City.

Northern end is on Pirie Street, close to the western end of the Hataitai bus tunnel.
