Description

This is an interesting little track that connects Mt Vic Summit with Southern Mt Victoria.

Travelling northwards this track drops quite steeply away from Alexandra Road, dipping sharply – hence the name – before gently rising to the northern end. It is possible to gather a lot of speed down the hill, so watch out for other track users.

The northernmost 0.1km of this track coincides with a section of Mt Vic Summit – ending at the point where the branches of Mt Vic Summit meet.

The top section (at the Alexandra Road end) has a gravel surface, while the rest of the track is a mixture of dirt, rocks, and tree roots.

Getting there

Southern end branches off Southern Mt Victoria almost 0.5km north of Mount Alfred along Alexandra Road.

Northern end meets Mt Vic Summit as it climbs quite steeply towards Alexandra Road.

Length
