This track runs down the midline of Truby King Park, forming the backbone from which other tracks radiate.

The top section, from the apex of Karitane Entrance, is a wide and relatively open area under mature pine trees. After dropping down a steep slope, this track coincides for a short way with Southern Truby King along a gravel road. Southern Truby King diverges down a piece of single track and this track continues along the gravel road to the apex of a sweeping corner where it meets Coromandel and the northern end of Southern Truby King.

At the top of this track, just after dropping off Karitane Entrance, look to the left (west) and you may see bikes flying through the air along the Karitane Jump track.

Southern end is at the apex of the Karitane Entrance loop.

Northern end meets Coromandel just above the switchbacks and at the northern end of Southern Truby King.
