This is a slightly easier alternative to the climb up Hospital to Mt Vic.

From the southern end, head up the access road to the water reservoir. Continue past the reservoir, turning sharply left up the narrower grassy track that overlooks the reservoir from a hairpin bend. Then continue along the grassy track to join Hospital to Mt Vic in a wide, open area.

Diverges off Hospital to Mt Vic and climbs up past a water reservoir to rejoin Hospital to Mt Vic as it climbs up an open grassy area.
