Description

This is a track of two (unequal) halves.

The 'Straight' section connects several tracks between Wahine and Telegraph Ridge. From the top of 98 Downhill, this track heads straight up a steep hill, with a surface that consists of often wet smooth clay. The lowest part of this section is often muddy, which makes for much fun when descending from Telegraph Ridge.

The 'Narrow' section is a narrow, steep, and rocky chute that can be quite challenging when wet. Given the narrowness of the chute, there is little room for error and the rocks are unforgiving.

Getting there

The 'Straight' section continues from the point where Wahine takes a sharp turn towards Karori, and heads straight up a steep hill to Telegraph Ridge.

The 'Narrow' section drops down a chute off Skyline to join 'Straight' a few metres from the Wahine intersection.
