Shortcut between sections of the 98 Downhill.

At the base of the 98 Downhill steps (which have a bypass on the left), instead of turning sharply left this track continues straight down the hill. The track surface is steep, consisting of hard-packed dirt with a covering of pine needles, so there is little traction – especially when wet.

The track ends at a T-intersection with 98 Downhill. Just before that point, Karori Ladder Drop appears out of no-where, dropping on to this track down the last sweeping banked corner on the right.

Starts at the bottom of the steps on 98 Downhill and rejoins 98 Downhill just before it drops down to meet Wahine.
