Description
This is a 4x and dual slalom mountain bike racing track that weaves down a shallow gully on Mount Albert. The track includes several jumps, a couple of small step drops, and high bermed corners.
This track is used for regular races, open to riders of all levels.
From the bottom of the track, glide up to the saddle point on the left and climb back up the concrete path for another go.

Getting there
Top (southern) end is on Western Slopes, just off Mount Albert Road. There is a car park 0.15km to the northwest down Mount Albert Road.
Other notes
The track was originally created as a temporary course for the New Zealand Mountain Bike National Championships, held on 22 February 2008. However a subsequent petition successfully sought to retain the track after the championships.
As at May 2009, the long term status of the track has yet to decided. In the meantime, the Wellington MTB Club continues to maintain the course for the benefit of local riders.
