Description

This is an easy track that runs the length of Bothamley Park. The western 0.7km is graveled single track, while the remainder is smooth double track road. At the end of the single track section, cross one of several bridges along the track and follow a short bit of asphalt to continue along the unpaved road.

Along the way there are several short linking tracks to adjacent streets. Of particular note is a short path located next to a concrete bridge over a stream that has a stepped cascade. The path leads up to Cannons Creek Park. Beyond the park, behind the shopping centre, is the northern end of the Cannons Creek track.

About 0.5km from the eastern end, under the trees, is a Y-intersection with the southern end of Gareth Varley Memorial. A further 0.3km west is a T-intersection with a gravel road, which is the southern end of Dales Reserve.

At the western end there is a sign that says "Caution. This area may flood in heavy rain".

Getting there

The western end is on Champion Street, less than 0.5km from the motorway.

The eastern end is next to an open grass area on Warspite Avenue.
