Description
This track passes through the Maymorn Block of the Pakuratahi Forest.
From the eastern end, take a short climb into the trees and down a steep track. Just past the apex, this track meets Plateau Ridge in a brief flat section.
The track then climbs up through the forest for 0.15km. At that point, the track ahead looks rather overgrown, so instead of going that way diverge to the left up the hillside.
Another 0.5km further along, after a brief descent, the track meets an intersection with Mangaroa Tunnel running right to left (the tunnel is gently uphill towards the left) and the end of Mount Climie Firebreak is directly opposite.
Getting there
Starts and ends on the Mangaroa Tunnel track. The eastern end is 0.15km west of the tunnel, while the other end is 0.3km further southwest.
