This is a gravel access road to a water reservoir above Rata Street.

The road has an almost constant gradient of 15% as it initially heads straight up a valley and then continues around the hill to a small plateau where the reservoir tank is located.

Behind the reservoir tank is a set of steps – that is the start of the Rata Street Loop.

Starts with a steel barrier gate at the top of Rata Street.

Ends at a moderately small water reservoir tank, where Rata Street Loop starts.
