Short connection between Puketiro Road and another forestry road.

This is a shortcut between Puketiro Road and an unnamed forestry road - that is, if you turn right at the end of this track the forestry road will take you back to Puketiro Road about 0.7k from where you left it.

Much of the track is narrow and seemingly reverting to singletrack, though it is still passable by small 4wd vehicles.

Less then 0.2km from the southern end there is a short and extremely steep 20m drop over the hillside to the forestry road below - looks to be a favourite of the motocross riders.

The tracks ends with a 1m drop down on to a gravel forestry road.

Diverges off Puketiro Road about halfway along, at a signposted Y-intersection.

Ends at an unmarked forestry road.

Despite the track's name, there is no sign of a "yard" as such - though it may have been superseded by the forest plantation.
