This is a short spur off Pylon Loop that goes to the last pylon that is accessible from Kaitoke Hill.

Deviates off the western-most apex of Pylon Loop.

Return the same way.

The Google map suggests that there is a track heading down to the paddocks below Kaitoke Hill. However, on the ground there is little evidence of such a track. It is likely to head into private land anyway.
