Description
This steep 4wd access road provides an alternative entry to, or exit from, the Makara Peak Mountain Bike Park. The gate on Allington Road is tall and has cross-beams, though it is possible to squeeze a bike through with some effort.
It is a reasonable climb up from Allington Road, gaining about 90m before dropping down 20m to meet Snake Charmer. Just before meeting Snake Charmer you'll cross the intersection where the end of Ridgeline leads on to the start of Ridgeline Extension.
Getting there
Starts from a metal gate near the top of Allington Road.
Ends at an intersection with Snake Charmer.
Other notes
At the very end of Allington Road, just 60m from the metal gate where this track starts, you'll find the end of Rimu Trail.
