This is a sinuous track with nice flowing curves when descending.

Watch out for a few low hanging trees over the track, though they are easy to avoid.

There are a couple of tracks along the way that head off to the east into Otari-Wilton's Bush - no bikes allowed in there.

The top is on Skyline, around 1.3km north of Parkvale Access or 1.0km south of Chartwell, at the northern end of the Johnson Hill Reserve. There is a track name marker at the top of a wide, grassy track that drops gently off Skyline down towards the southeast.

The bottom of the track emerges on to Karori Cemetery's sealed perimeter road, near the northwestern corner. Follow the signs to exit via Standen Street.
