Description

This is a 1 hour loop walk beginning just across the swingbridge at Boille Flat near the main carpark and toilet area at Otaki Forks. It was named after the Arcus family who farmed the region in the 1930's.

Cross the swingbridge, and the loop walk is signposted a short way up the track to Field Hut and Waitewaewae. The loop pass over the grassy flat area, then climbs up for a return with some views of the flat and river. It is suitable for all ages, though there is a warning that some parts of the upper track may be slippy in wet weather (though a recent gravel surface may have cured this).
