Description

The entrance is well signposted near the start of Park Road in Belmont not from the SH2 Western-Hutt Road. It is a short climb up a firm bush track, but the track can be quite damp after rain. There are steps and wooden bridges. The track emerges near the end of the no-exit Palm Grove. The quickest route back to the start is to turn right and walk to the end of Palm Grove and down the narrow sealed pathway which emerges on Grounsell Crescent about 150 metres from the start.
