Description
Steep shortcut that skips several of the switchbacks on the lower part of Koru.
Getting there
When heading up Koru, the shortcut is marked on the right hand side before the first set of switchbacks.
The top of the shortcut rejoins Koru just before the chainring tree.
Other notes
Back when Koru was a two-way track, this shortcut provided a quicker route back to the car park. Now it is only slightly quicker than climbing the switchbacks.
