Description

Short track that bypasses the main South Karori Road car park. This enables loops from Starfish or Lazy Fern through to Koru without needing to pass through the car park.

The first part of this track heads down what used to be known as "Koru Wetfeet" – a ford across Karori Stream that was commonly used before the southern bridge was constructed – but just before hitting the stream the track veers away through the bush.

Getting there

Northern end is next to the bridge at the northern end of the main car park.

Southern end merges with Koru just before the southern bridge.

Other notes

One-way, from north to south.

Length

0.15km

Conditions

Single track
