Description

This is a well marked Dept of Conservation walkway through a remnant of original Chatham Island bush, which includes many Nikau Palm trees. The track is signposted about 1 km north of Blind Jim's Creek on North Road. There is about 1 km of farm track which leads to a style and entry to the fenced off bush area. Inside the bush is a flat 800 metre circular walk, which is pleasantly shady. Look out for Weka on the forest floor.
