Description:
From Rangitatau carpark the track heads up a few steps to the right and about 250 metres to the large white Ataturk memorial. The track then continues up for another 600 metres to rejoin the Eastern walkway track. If you are doing the Eastern walkway I recommend doing this diversion instead of following the main route up Woof Woof Ruff.

Getting there:
Park at Rangitatau carpark, which is a short way along the southern coast past Moa Point.
Other notes:
Bicycles not allowed in Rangitatau reserve.
