This ride connects some of Wellingtons best tracks in trip that takes you from Johnsonville to the South Coast. The tracks used are: Old Coach Road, Skyline, Varley's, Zac's Track, Ridgeline, Swigg, Starfish, Salvation, Fenceline, Red Rocks. Description:
Starts at the end of the Johnsonville Street 'Old Coach Road'. Take the track Old Coach Road till the first turn off to Mt Kau Kau. This will take you to the summit. Follow the polled route all the way to Makara. Cross the road and enter Makara Peak park, take Varley's then Zac's Track to the top of Makara. Then take the Ridgeline, Swigg and Starfish to the Makara car park. Head right out of the carpark then left up Hazelwood and right up Fitzgerald to the start of Salvation. At the car park at the top of Salvation continue up the hill and take the first right. This track joins the Fenceline. Follow the fenceline till it joins a sealed road. Go right on the road and follow it to the Castle that marks the start of Red Rocks. Redrocks is a great decent to the coast.

Starts from Old Coach Road in Johnsonville.
Other notes:
It'd also be an option to include the new Car Parts Extension. Follow the Fenceline to the Turbine then take Car Parts extension, gets you most of the way to the start of Red rocks and reduces time on sealed road.
