Interesting and challenging downhill alternative to the bottom half of Danzig.

Description:
This track is designed as a downhill-only complement to the bottom half of Danzig (which it is intended will eventually become uphill-only). It is complemented by Choppers, which is at a similar level of difficulty.
The surface consists mostly of smooth clay and tangled tree roots, with only pine needles for grip. There are several very steep clay slides, tight corners, and undulations.
At about the halfway point, a few metres after crossing the bridge, the track forks into two parts. The fork to the left (constructed in early 2010) is somewhat easier, while the fork to the right is especially steep.
All up, this is a challenging track that makes an interesting alternative to Danzig.
Getting there:
The track starts little more than 10m up hill from the green hut, where it diverges from Danzig.
The track ends by the gate on Bridleway, between the wool shed and the bottom of Danzig.

Big Weta made its official debut during the Belmont Regional Park round of PNP's mountain bike racing series on 2 November 2008.
