Navigate the deep gorges, surrounded by rich flora and fauna bush areas of the Whanganui River, at your leisure. Surrounding the region are the urban settlements of Taumarunui, National Park, Ohakune and at the far eastern reaches, the army town of Waiouru. Ruapehu region - get in the know!
