Had to stop several times to clear fallen trees and branches off the track. Kind of interrupted the flow, but otherwise the track is riding real nice.

Ridgeline Extension

Vegetation has been controlled, surface is sweet, all is good.

North Face

Rode the full length, apart from the 300m gap in the middle that has yet to be constructed. As a work in progress, some of the switchbacks need more refinement and parts of the track are quite narrow, but overall this is developing into a great track. I'm sure this will become the preferred route down from the summit for many people, myself included.

Zac's Track

Top section is quite dry and loose, with plenty of exposed rocks to negotiate.

Snake Charmer

I haven't ridden up Snake Charmer for many years – I now remember why. Missing Link and Aratihi are a much more interesting route to the summit, albeit with more climbing. Oh, and there's a deep rut on the inside line just above Tower 18 Connector.

This is a raw hard-core DH track. Definitely at the "extreme" end of the difficulty scale.

Stratton

Top half is all clear, while the bottom half has a covering of moderately long grass.

The Slide

A load of gravel has been dumped across the top entrance that's closest to Danzig. The alternative entrance, just a few metres along OCR Belmont, is clear.

Although quite dry throughout, a couple of the upper switchbacks are still difficult to climb due to their steep and smooth clay surface that lacks even the minimal traction that pine needles would provide.

Few bogs on the lower part. There are at least two trees on the outside edge of the track that have decided that it's time to move down into the valley. They've taken a bit of the edge of the track with them.
