Description
I wonder if it would be useful to have a News section, in which announcements could be made when there are significant new features, bug fixes, areas added, track updates that we want to highlight, etc.
Perhaps have the News created at the Region level, and automatically aggregated to be shown on the home page? Under the Navigator would seem like a good location.

Some ideas on this, "news" items would be:
o Site update
o Track report
o New track
o New area
o New feature/bug
Main (home) page would have aggregate of all news from each region plus site stuff. Each region page would have news section. These news sections would replace/enhance the current "Track Reports" section.
