Description
It'd be great to be able to rate tracks, with a star system like in the Kennett Brothers book or similar. I guess we could start adding rating info into track reports... The ideal situation would be a voting system, where logged in users could vote tracks up or down.

I like this. I had a similar idea where you could choose/rank your top 3 or 5 tracks that would go into your settings/profile. This could then be used as the basis for rating tracks as you suggest.
A further idea on this which is probably getting way ahead of the current features of Tracks is users could use this info to find other riders with similar track preferences, kind social networky... maybe a future future thing!

Good idea. I think it would be good if a user could rate any tracks they want to. Their top rated tracks could then automatically be listed in their profile, if they were ever to have a public face.
I'm a great fan of re-using existing code, and there are lots of code examples around for this sort of thing. For example, grafxsoftware offer a free star rating system. The Ajax example is quite good.
